Tamhini ghat waterfalls

These are popularly known as the Valse and are one of the popular attractions of Kolad. Its modest peaks and lush greenery make it a quick addition to the list of favorites of all its visitors. The Kansai Waterfalls and hot springs at Uddhar are situated near this falls.

Bhira dam

Bhira dam, popularly known as Tata Power house dam, is located in a small picturesque village with a marvelous waterfall nearby Kolad. The Dam, installed in 1927 by the Tata Power Company, is one among the biggest hydroelectric projects in India and the water from this dam is highly useful in irrigation purposes in the nearby villages. The power generated from this dam is the backbone of the many industrial activities in Mumbai Pune region. Water rafting of the kundalika river mainly depends on the water released from this dam.

Kuda Mandad Caves

These caves are a part of the Janjira Hills. A group of 13 Buddhist caves, many sculptures, paintings and inscriptions can be found here. Stupas of the Lord can also be seen.

Sutarwadi Lake

Ballaleshwar Temple

Ballaleshwar temple is one of the eight temples of Lord Ganesha. Among Ganesha temples, Ballaleshwar is the only incarnation of Ganesha that is known by his devotee's name. It is located in the village of Pali which is at a distance of 58 km from Karjat in the Raigad district. It is situated between fort Sarasgad and the river Amba.

Unhere Hot water Springs

The Unhere hot water springs located in the near Pali taluka Shudhagad of Raigad District in Maharashtra State, India. Just 1 km before the Pali Ganesh temple is a hot water spring. It is at the village of Unhere and also seems to be called 'Uddhar'. The Unhere springs contaings chlorine & saline water & gives out plenty of Carbon dioxide & traces of Hydrogen Sulphide. The water temperature is between 40 to 60 degree Celsius.
